The St. John Brebeuf Catholic Women’s Club, in existence since 1954, fosters the social and spiritual welfare of its members and provides annual financial support to the parish through a variety of activities.
There are five general meetings during the year featuring activities, guest speakers, or entertainment for all members and friends to enjoy. Spiritual experiences include an October Mass to honor the Blessed Mother, membership Mass and breakfast and a May Crowning at Mass for Mary.
Among some fund-raising events are a Christmas Party, Spring Fling, and More.
The Holy Name Men's Club is a social, spiritual and service organization for all gentlemen of the parish. The club was formed in 1954 to support the pastor and the various ministries of the parish. The Holy Name Men’s Club meets monthly and sponsors many activities including Fish Fry’s, and Super Bowl Party along with various programs throughout the year; guest speakers, special events etc. They also participate in the annual Spiritual Assembly sponsored by the Archdiocese. The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.6 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people. Knights and their families don't believe in sitting idly and just watching life pass by. Knights feed the hungry, help shelter the homeless, help senior citizens remain healthy and active, conduct blood drives, and fight to protect the right to life for all individuals.
The Golden Agers senior group meets weekly on Tuesdays. They hold a short business meeting, play entertaining games and have refreshments. Other activities include trips, attending plays and shows, holiday dinners and sponsoring a bake sale. The Golden Agers experience a great camaraderie in their group.
To Foster and strengthen camaraderie and harmonious relationship among parishioners, assist them in their personal and spiritual growth and provide the avenue to get them involved in community-building activities. They sponsor Simbang Gabi – Mass of Celebration, each year and host a traditional dinner afterward.
With St. Queen Jadwiga as our patron, we strive to assist our parish through her motto of prayer and work. We help the parish with numerous special events, and Lenten fish fry dinners. On Monday, October 16th, we celebrated the Mass of Mandation of the new and experienced Ministers of Communion and of Care in our Parish. Thank you for your ministry of bringing the Body of Christ to those in need!
